Re Sgt Kenny
I have received your letter of the 10th inst. regarding above named NCO I wish to point out that this N.C.O. has only been on this Station about 10 days. At the time he came into the orderly room his demobilisation papers had not been received from the Air Ministry, and he was advised to interview the officer i/c of demobilisation, as I understand he had filled up his paper at the unit he was with before he arrived at this station

You will no doubt readily understand that there are a considerable number of cases for demobilisation here, and that men who have been on this station for exceedingly long periods naturally resent a new-comer being demobilised before them.

Your son's papers arrived here the day before yesterday, he will be released in all probability early next week.

I assure you everything is being done at this station to treat all cases with the utmost consideration and fairness.
