Dear Sir,

I have submitted your application to the Chairman of the board of Examiners in Dental Surgery and I am glad to tell you that in view of the examination you have already passed and taking into consideration your war service he has decided that you may commence your professional studies for the licence in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England without passing any further Preliminary Examinations.

You must please understand that this concession applies only to the Licence of the Royal College of Surgeons and does not entitle you to register as a Dental Student by the General Medical Council: such registration , however is unnecessary. The production of this letter will be sufficient authority for you to enter any recognized Dental School and Hospital in this country.

I am returning your certificates herewith

I am Dear Sir

Yours faithfully
